1928
Francis Jackson Homes was founded in Harrow by Civil Engineer Francis GC Jackson (second from right).

1930s
The extension of the Metropolitan and Piccadilly underground lines from central London provided Francis Jackson and his consortium partners with an opportunity and they were soon selling an astonishing 60 houses a week! Over 2000 homes were built at Ruislip Manor.

1940s
During the war Francis Jackson was seconded to the war effort building airfields for the Air Ministry, including Silverstone which later became the famous F1 circuit.

1960s
Francis Jackson's son Robert joined the company having worked as a Civil Engineer and the company began to focus on building houses in the expanding towns and villages beyond the Green Belt to the north of London.

1970s
In 1978 the company relocated to Olney, Buckinghamshire, to be closer to their sites and customers.

1980s
Francis Jackson Homes firmly established their reputation for build quality and were selected to build the 10,000th new home in Milton Keynes at Giffard Park.

1990s
Francis Jackson begin their sponsorship of the world famous Olney Pancake Race.

2012
Winners of the Sunday Times Build Quality 2012 Award. This prestigious national award recognises Francis Jackson Homes' exceptional build quality and the company is extremely proud of this achievement.
