On a very sunny day, lots of people came to watch the Olney Pancake Race. The race is reputed to be the world's oldest pancake race, first run in 1445 and always attracts national and international press attention.
Events started with children's races at 10.00 and then the main race run at 11.55 followed by the Shriving service in St Peter & St Paul Church, Olney. Eloise Kramer was the winner once again.
Funds raised go to the fabric fund of St Peter and St Paul, Olney to help maintain the historic building.
Congratulations to all the participants and organisers for a very successful event.
